1. Who we are

Miltinson Technologies LLC (“Miltinson,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) builds and operates a portfolio of web and mobile applications. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information across our products, alongside product-specific policies where noted.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you provide directly — account details, contact information, content you submit, communications with support
  • Information collected automatically — device information, log data, usage analytics, approximate location (IP-based), cookies and similar technologies
  • Information from third parties — where a product integrates a third-party service (e.g. sign-in providers, payment processors), limited data may be shared as required to provide that functionality

Not every product collects every category. Each product's own policy states exactly what that product collects. Section 3 covers miltinson.com.

3. Information collected on miltinson.com

This website collects the following:

  • Contact form submissions. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, the service you are asking about, and your message. The submission is sent to our inbox by email.
  • Purchases.Payments are processed by Stripe on its hosted checkout page. Stripe collects your payment details, email address, and billing information. We receive your email address, what you bought, the status of your payment, and, for retainers, invoice amounts and renewal status. We do not store full card numbers. We use your email address to confirm your order, to schedule the work you bought, and to tell you when a retainer payment fails. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
  • Billing portal requests. When you ask to manage a retainer, we use the email address you enter to find your Stripe customer record. If one exists, we email a link to the billing portal to the address on that record. The link expires after 15 minutes. We do not tell the requester whether a record was found.
  • Request data. Our hosting provider processes standard request data such as your IP address and browser type to serve the site. We use your IP address to limit repeated contact, checkout, and billing portal requests, and the email address entered in the billing portal form to limit how many links are sent to it. Both are held in server memory and are not stored in a database.

This website does not use advertising or audience analytics tools, and it does not collect consumer health data. It does use an error monitoring service, described below.

These service providers receive personal information from miltinson.com:

  • Vercel — website hosting (request data)
  • Stripe — payments, subscriptions, and the billing portal
  • Resend — sending contact form, order, and billing portal link emails
  • Sentry — error and performance monitoring (the page address without its query string, browser and device type, and technical details of the error; not cookies or anything you type into a form. Sentry is set not to store your IP address)
  • Spacemail — hosting our email inbox, where contact form submissions and order emails arrive

4. Cookies, Do Not Track, and Global Privacy Control

miltinson.com does not set analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and it does not store identifiers in your browser. When you check out or open the billing portal, you are on a Stripe page, and Stripe may set its own cookies to process payments and prevent fraud. Our products may use cookies as described in their own policies.

Do Not Track. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals. miltinson.com does not track you across other websites, so there is nothing for the signal to turn off.

Global Privacy Control. We honor Global Privacy Control by default. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, and a GPC signal needs no further action.

5. How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the product
  • To communicate with you about your account or support requests
  • To monitor and improve security and reliability
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. How we share information

  • With service providers who help us operate the product (hosting, email delivery, payment processing, error monitoring, and analytics where a product uses it), under contractual confidentiality obligations. Section 3 names the ones miltinson.com uses.
  • When required by law, or to protect rights, safety, or property
  • In connection with a business transaction (merger, acquisition, asset sale), with notice where required

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the product and for legitimate business or legal purposes, then delete or anonymize it. For miltinson.com:

  • Contact messages stay in our inbox while we are in contact with you and afterwards as a record of the conversation. We delete them when you ask, unless we need them for a legal reason.
  • Purchase and billing records are kept in Stripe and in our order emails for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • IP and email addresses used for rate limiting are held in server memory only and are gone when the server instance restarts.
  • Hosting, email delivery, and error monitoring logs are kept by Vercel, Resend, and Sentry under their own retention periods.

8. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email contact@miltinson-technologies.com. We may ask you to confirm the request from the email address we have on file.

We respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we tell you why within those 45 days and respond within a further 45 days. We handle requests by hand: to delete your information, we delete your messages from our inbox and delete your Stripe customer record. Stripe and we keep only the transaction records that tax and accounting law requires.

If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. We respond to appeals within 60 days and explain the outcome.

Washington consumer health data.miltinson.com does not collect consumer health data as defined by Washington's My Health My Data Act. A Miltinson product that does collect it has its own Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, linked from that product.

11. Children's privacy

Our products are not directed to children under 13 unless a specific product's policy states otherwise. Products that are directed to children under 13 have a dedicated, standalone privacy policy with COPPA-compliant disclosures — see that product's policy.

miltinson.com is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, email contact@miltinson-technologies.com and we will delete it.
